Our Billerica Technology Center has been our key lab for delivering product, process and application innovation for over 50 years. Our exceptionally curious team, broad laboratory capabilities, and talented analytical scientists support and enable innovation across our product range, including reinforcing carbons, inkjet colorants, battery materials, specialty carbons, specialty compounds, fumed metal oxides and silica aerogel.

Our Chiba Technology Center is co-located at our Chiba carbon black plant. Our Chiba team has decades of experience collaborating with customers in the region to deliver advanced rubber reinforcement technology. Our team’s knowledge of structure-property relationships and reinforcing behavior of carbon black in natural and synthetic rubber supports our customers’ development for tires and industrial products.
